THO provides applicants with information relevant to them as individuals when they log on to the scheme website.
This “personalisation” of the applicant’s on-line experience is possible because of the information held on him or her on the on-line register (or other data uploads). The system checks the key data held on the applicant and prioritises the information on services and opportunities in a way that is relevant to that individual, guiding them quickly to the areas of the website most likely to be of use and interest to them.
The applicant can still access every area of the scheme website – My Gateway simply offers up those parts of the website most likely to be of interest to the applicant. Each scheme partner is also able to promote and manage campaigns, based on their own or government-led initiatives. This might be links to get a flu jab, the ability to register for a vote or any other campaign thought relevant to that particular individual.
