Campaign Wizard Details - Adding Links

You can add links to other web pages from each of the types of adverts.  With the small ad, side bar ad and property ad, the member can click on the ad to be taken to the webpage.  

Add the link by typing the web address into the box, ‘Link to this page’ shown below. You can make this a popup by ticking the ‘Make the link a popup’ box.

 

With the homepage article and member homepage article, the link has to be added within the text. To add the link, click on the ‘add web link’ button, shown below by the blue arrow. Ensure the cursor is positioned were you want the link to be.

 

The following link text appears in the box:  [link:http://www.example.com/example.htm title]

You need to complete the items in bold i.e. type the web address where ‘http://www.example.com/example.htm’ is and replace the word ‘title’ with the name of the page or a suitable label.

For example: [link:http://www.home-options.org/Content.aspx?wkid=1 Scheme Guide]

Members will click on that to be taken to the webpage.

To add a link to a PDF attachment, you will need to click the 'add a document' icon shown below:

This will then open up a drop down of files that have already been uploaded. You do have the option to also browse to upload a new file, simply click the 'Upload File' grey button shown above. 

Once you've selected the 'Add document icon' button and selected the file you wish to link to, you will need to ensure that you remove the spaces between / to .pdf then replace 'title' with what you would like the document title to display as on the News page on your public website.
