The Shortlisting

When Members have made Bids they are placed on shortlists.

The shortlists show a ranked listing of the Members who have made a bid for a property.

The ranking is determined by the Points or Band or any other criteria that has been set for your scheme e.g. local connection or priority date.

The shortlists are dynamic so will change in order if members priority changes, this means that it is best not to advise members of their exact position until the property is let as they can move position within the shortlists.

So in effect, a Shortlist is a ranked list of people who have made a bid for an Advertised property.

Shortlists then go through a number of Stages:

1. After bidding has closed the shortlist status will become Ready to Offer or Nominate

2. When offers or nominations are made the status becomes Offered or Nominated. This offering and nominating cycle may take several days to process due to rejection, refusals and viewings.

3. When the cycle has finished the shortlist become Let

NB: The rank of a Member can continually change as bids come into the system so it is important not to disclose to any Members exactly where they are on the ranking list until the shortlists are closed and Ready to Offer or Nominate.
